This recipe can be easily changed to fit the number of people you wish to serve, so lets get started!

Leftover Friendly Hamburger Stir Fry

BurgerStirFry

Serves 2

Ingredients

4 cooked meat patties (I used beef but you can use chicken, pork, or even turkey if you wanted to)
1 Broccoli crown, separate into bite size pieces
2 Carrots, peeled and sliced (or a hand full of baby carrots cut into thirds)
1 Bell pepper, cut into 1/4 in pieces
1 Yellow onion, chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic (finely chopped)
3 TBLSP Vegetable Oil
Cooked Rice

Basic Stir Fry Sauce Ingredients
4 TBLSP Soy Sauce
2 TBLSP Mirin
2 TBLSP Cooking Sake
1 TSP Corn Starch
1/2 C Chicken Stock

Let's Cook!

1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk till well combined, set aside.
2. Chop all ingredients and set to side, take a large skillet or wok and heat vegetable oil over high heat.
3. Add in garlic, bell pepper, and onions and stir fry till fragrant or onions starts to turn translucent.
4. Add in carrots and stir fry till tender, NOT SOFT, and onions caramelizes, stir constantly to avoid scorching.
5. Turn heat down to medium and add in the broccoli and stir once again till broccoli turns a dark green color and is cooked but not mushy. While vegetables are cooking take the meat patties and cut into bite sized pieces. Take two bowls and fill bottom with fresh steamed rice until 1/4 or 1/2 way up a deep bowl, depending on how much you love rice.
6. Stir vegetables then add the meat patty to the wok, toss till well combined then pour sauce over stir fry. Toss to coat all ingredients and then turn heat to low allowing mixture to simmer.
7. When sauce has thickened serve stir fry over rice.
8. Grab your chop sticks and enjoy!

If you don't like rice you can simply serve this with a side of noodles, or if you prefer fried rice this stir fry goes really well with it. The amount of sauce ingredients can be easily changed according to your taste.

The sides to enjoy with this dish can be from a simple little salad, or a nice hot bowl of miso soup! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I have. Thank you!
